 Delirium's Offspring Homepage
I started the site in summer 1996, predating the official offspring.com, and it is one of the few mid-90s Offspring fan sites still on the internet, since theoffspring.net disappeared.
Some additional updates will hopefully be coming soon, such as bringing the discography and band info up to date.
I was in high school at the time, and my upkeep of the site has waned rather noticeably since—there have been essentially no updates since 1999.

 Offspring Discography at CD Universe
Since their formation in 1984, Southern California punk band the Offspring have been crafting breakneck rock tunes that combine smart-aleck lyrics with rapid-fire rhythms and shredding guitar licks.
While California's Offspring had been slugging it out since the late-'80s, it wasn't until the mid-'90s that the band hit paydirt with a slew of anthemic punk-pop ditties
The Offspring: Dexter Holland (vocals); Noodles (guitar); Greg K (bass guitar); Ron Welty (drums).

 Godsmack Discography at CD Universe
Talented New Englanders Godsmack are one of the top-selling alternative rock acts of the 1990s.
Those who mourn MIA grunge rockers Alice In Chains may find relief in some of AIC's late-'90s musical offspring, especially Godsmack (named after an Alice In Chains song).
Godsmack: Sully Erna (vocals, various instruments); Tony Rombola (guitar); Robbie Merrill (bass guitar); Shannon Larkin (drums).

 Blogcritics.org: The Damned, Grave Disorder
The band have split, reformed and reshuffled more times in the last decade (let alone the 1970s and 1980s) than they themselves probably care to remember, and their 1990s discography was pretty much a wasteland of dodgy compilations and live albums.
Now here comes the latest version of The Damned (comprising Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Patricia Morrison, Monty Oxy Moron and Pinch) with Grave Disorder, their first proper studio album in fifteen-odd years (the aforementioned demos disc notwithstanding), released on Nitro Records, the label managed by Dexter from Offspring.
Perhaps surprisingly, it's not a bad album at all, perhaps even better than you might expect.

There's a judicious use of samples among the keyboard work, and Dave Vanian is in simply fantastic voice; that striking baritone he developed in the 1980s is in full force here.

Grave Disorder offers a fairly good cross-section of The Damned's styles and themes, politicised punk ("Democracy?"), the criticism of religion ("Amen"), ruminations on fame ("Would You Be So Hot [If You Weren't Dead?]", "Neverland"), plus fond Goth-tinged nods to the B-movie monsters of the past ("Beauty of the Beast") and absinthe (the thereminned-up "Absinthe").

The Roots / Discography : : The Tipping Point
On their genre-expanding 2002 album "Phrenology," the Philadelphia hip-hop band flirted with punk, downshifted neo-soul into a drum n' bass workout, and imagined their guitar-riffing hip-hop as rock 'n' roll's offspring.
The album cover features the photo of then street thug Malcolm Little which symbolizes his tipping point that leads to his transformation to Malcolm X. The Roots are: ?uestlove (drums) Black Thought (emcee) Kamal Gray (keyboards) Leonard “Hub” Hubbard (bass) and guest musicians Captain Kirk Douglas (guitar) and Frank Knuckles (percussion).
Their sixth studio album is calculated to display their range -- buttery pop choruses, hard-as-hell hookless spitting, jittery programmed beats, a bonus jam on George Kranz's club classic "Din Daa Daa" that highlights Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson's drumming -- and it's got a bunch of impressive ideas.

Hicks' involvement with the Carroll Dickerson's Savoy Orchestra around this same time led to the most stocked corner of the trombonist's discography; Louis Armstrong wound up taking over the band and using it on a series of recording sessions.
Trombonist Henry Hicks would most certainly be considered pretty hip in the post-Ken Burns epoch of jazz criticism, however, claiming membership in legendary bands of the '20s, such as the Musical Stevedores, the Jungle Town Stompers, Jasper Davis' Orchestra, and Edgar Hayes' Blue Grass Buddies.
