  The 2000 Presidential Election
With four or five or six serious minor party candidates drawing as little as 8-10% of the vote apiece and the two major party candidates splitting the rest of the vote, the eventual winner might receive as little as 25% of the popular vote total.
In other words, out of 5,380 electoral votes cast only 5 were cast in a manner that was inconsistent with the popular vote.
And it is this argument, among others, by the way, that leads me to defend retaining the Electoral College, with all due respect to Senator-elect Clinton and others who say this election illustrates why it should be abolished.

World Series - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Series winner is determined through a best-of-seven playoff (except in 1903, 1919, 1920 and 1921 when the winner was determined through a best-of-nine playoff) and is awarded the World Series Trophy, as well as World Series rings.
Other substantial droughts include the Philadelphia Phillies (97 seasons, from their inception in 1883 to 1980); the Chicago White Sox (88 seasons, from 1917 to 2005); the Boston Red Sox (86 seasons, from 1918 to 2004).
In the television serial Lost, the stranded airplane crash survivor Jack is shown video of the Boston Red Sox winning the 2004 World Series to prove that citizens of the remote fictional island are in contact with the outside world.

 TV Series
Advertised as a top flight action series shown in 158 cities in the US, and 38 countries worldwide, Jungle Jim, the TV series, in retrospect, was cheaply produced and designed to capitalize on its star’s audience appeal.
Occasionally, footage from the film series was borrowed, such as in the episode titled “Lagoon of Death,” in which scenes from The Lost Tribe and Fury of the Congo helped pad the 25 minutes.
Unlike many TV series, The Jungle Jim Show was copyrighted, and Columbia continues to hold television licensing rights until at least 2006.

I still remember the case, which kicks off the series, of the female doctor who while on duty at New York's Bellevue Hospital was raped and murdered by a homeless madman.
The most shocking thing is that Court TV says it got the idea for the show from Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau, a man who is so respected (he is the role model for Adam Schiff on "Law & Order").
Other confessions are similarly piling up in law enforcement offices across the nation.

Rumour had it that "Mora", the twelfth episode of The Others, was so horrible that they decided not to air it at all.
Whether that's true or not, the series finale -- in which every Others member died a horrible, painful death at the hands of Kristen Cloke -- did air in its place.
So much so, that she is sucking the life out of others in the process.

 Gensou Maden Saiyuki (2001) - Anime Reviews - spcnet.tv
The biggest difference between this series and anything else that calls itself "Journey to the West" would have to be the characters.
Sanzou is at best a cold loner who hangs around the other guys because deep in his heart, he believes they will never rely on him for help, and so being with them keeps him safe emotionally.
So even though this series is based on "Journey on the West", there is very little Buddhist teaching here or any moral teachings for young children either, but almost like a satiric twist on the ‘modern’ "Journey of the West".
