The first full-length record, The Partridge Family Album, was distributed later that year and featured a group photo in the album jacket, becoming the first of many premiums that would be inserted in later albums.
Interestingly, all of The Partridge Family records are labeled with the caption "Starring Shirley Jones and featuring David Cassidy." They were the only cast members to lend their voices to the recordings.

This was part of the classic Friday night lineup on A.B.C. that included the Brady Bunch, Nanny and the Professor, The Odd Couple, Room 222 and Love American Style.
Many people like to compare it to the Brady Bunch, but whereas the Brady Bunch were a bunch of squeaky clean kids the Partridge kids were more realistic, especially Keith.
Greg Brady seemed to always be a winner, but Keith was more of the loveable loser despite the fact he was a hit with the ladys.
