		The Producers were a new wave and power pop band from Atlanta, Georgia in the 1980s.
		Kyle Henderson became a born-again Christian and left the band shortly after they were dropped to record a solo album for Kerry Livgren's Christian rock label, Kerygma Records and was replaced by future Jellyfish and Umajets bassist Tim Smith.
		The Producers regained a major label contract in the late 1980s with MCA Records and recorded what was to be their fourth album, Coelacanth, but the band was one of several dropped in a 1989 label purge at MCA before the album could be released.

		Members of the BU marching band found out they were going to be filmed for a scene in the film about two weeks ago, according to Chris Parks, the director of Terrier athletic bands.
		Band President Jamie Teot said it was slow going in the beginning, but he said it provided a great experience.

		One of the first bands I ever saw that had a bald guy in it.
		But besides Costello, he was behind early singles by the Damned & the Pretenders, Wreckless Eric, his own stuff, etc. So whether he was the definitive producer of a certain time is debatable, but he definitely helped guide the more songwriterly branch of punk.

		The Producers was already booking very well, and was one of the hot tickets of the winter when Richard Dreyfus dropped out through injury.

		So I checked out the movie's soundtrack, but the producers only put 2 or 3 short-ish band tracks on the CD; the rest is stuff is poppy RandB stuff I can get anywhere.
		It's good marching band music, there is also college marching bands, pretty much any of them will get you what you want.
