		The Song Remains the Same is a soundtrack album and concert film by the British blues/rock band Led Zeppelin.
		The recording of the album and film took place during a 3-night concert stand at New York's Madison Square Garden in 1973 during the band's Houses of the Holy tour.
		The album was released on September 28, 1976 by Swan Song Records.

		As for the "unreleased" material-- "HHWCID" is available on the "Immigrant Song" single, "Traveling Riverside Blues" is a staple of AOR radio, and there are many versions of "White Summer" superior to the one released on the set, so that should not be the deciding factor.
		Songs -- "Stairway To Heaven" is one of the most-requested and most-played rock songs of all time.
		Plant was bumped by a fan during the same song, forgot the lyrics to one verse and later on forgot the words to "Stairway." Page's solos were somewhat of a disaster, though he did redeem himself a bit at the end of his "Stairway" solo.

		Image's recently released LD of "The Song Remains The Same" is a big improvement over previous LD and VHS version of the film.
		Also, a number of poor splices, where a frame or two of the film was missing, which caused the music to hiccup, have been replaced, so that the music flows much better than it did before.
		As I said near the beginning, "The Song Remains The Same" is still the best live footage that exists, and for many people, the only chance of seeing Led Zeppelin performing live.

		I know it's heresy punishable by death to speak ill of the great Zep, but this album shows not only the limitations the band had in concert, but also how difficult it truly is to make a live album.
		And then, there's the song that Led Zeppelin will always be known best for: "Stairway To Heaven." Color me extremely biased on this one, but there is no substitute for the original studio version.

		Jimmy Page (guitar) is a sweet guitar player and anyone with a brain who has listened to Zeppelin and watched the movie "The Song Remains the Same" know how cool he is. Robert Plant (vocals) kicks ass cause he drives the chicks wild with his oozing sexuality.
		My favorite album is pictured below : "The Song Remains The Same" and my favorite song, although it is always changing is D'yer Maker.
		Although I don't have a favorite Pink Floyd album, I would say I most like "Wish you Were Here", "The Wall", "Dark Side of the Moon".

		Now, I've always wondered why it was called Black Dog because if you listen to the lyrics it had nothing to do with a Black Dog.
