This shark's teeth are virtually identical to those of the modern shark except for size.
Unlike the vast majority of sharks in which the upper and lower teeth are noticeably different (typically - with many exceptions - narrow lower and wider upper teeth), tiger shark teeth are so alike from both jaws that it is difficult to tell uppers from lowers).
The teeth are of a remarkably similar size and shape as tiger shark teeth and even evolved larger as time went on.

Cubs are born with a set of milk teeth which are gradually replaced by adult teeth; this process starts at about six months of age.
Age and damage may cause some teeth to be lost and this is considered a prime reason for tigers turning man-eater.

Tiger Teeth was recorded over a period of 6 months in 2002.
The EP is filled with strong catchy, groovy, California pop tunes such as "Nervous Wreck " and " Tiger Teeth." The songs "Connection" and "Messages" features keyboardist Simone Rubi on lead vocals, which is reminiscent of their debut album.
With its warm, bright and slightly funky instrumentation (is that inspired by the Jackson Five, Free Design or perhaps both?) and C.A.R.'s not-so-secret weapon Simone Rubi's lovely lilting vocals, their new six song ep Tiger Teeth is another perfect soundtrack for rollerskatin' in the park.

On October 3, 2003, during a show at the Mirage, Roy Horn was bitten on the neck by a seven-year-old male tiger named Montecore.
Fischbacher, appearing on the Larry King interview program, said Horn fell during the act and Montecore was attempting to drag him to safety, as a mother tigress would pull one of her cubs by the neck.
Wynn said that although the tiger's teeth inflicted puncture wounds that caused Horn to lose blood, there was no damage to Horn's neck.

Bookreporter.com - THE TEETH OF THE TIGER by Tom Clancy
It is somewhat difficult to believe that THE TEETH OF THE TIGER is Tom Clancy's thirteenth novel.
THE TEETH OF THE TIGER is an incredibly fast-paced novel, in which Clancy eschews the technical explanations that occasionally bogged down the narratives of some of his previous novels.
While he continues to demonstrate an uncanny ability to understand and relate to the reader The Way Things Work, the focus of THE TEETH OF THE TIGER is more concerned with the ins and outs of intelligence gathering than with the how and why of munitions (though there is a bit of that as well).

In The Teeth of the Tiger Clancy introduces John (Jack) Ryan Jr., and his cousins, fraternal twins Brian and Dominic Caruso to his fans.
The Caruso boys are hired to act as the 'teeth' of The Campus, carrying out targeted assassinations of known terrorist and their associates, whereas Jack Jr., is relegated for most of the book to simply pushing papers and gathering intelligence.
Most of Clancy's books are much longer than The Teeth of the Tiger and I got the very distinct impression that The Teeth of the Tiger is the first part of a two-part story.

Now, in The Teeth of the Tiger, Clancy stirs things up again by handing off the franchise to the “next generation” by making John Patrick Ryan, Jr.
Even though Red Rabbit preceded the publication of The Teeth of the Tiger by a year, the shadow of the 9-11 tragedy clearly hangs over the novel's narrative; there are references to Al Qaeda's devastating attack -- one character muses that he is avenging a lost relative who was killed in the World Trade Center.
All in all, however, The Teeth of the Tiger is still an entertaining work, despite its brevity (by Clancy standards), still somewhat clunky style, and the abrupt cliffhanger ending.
