| | EI > DVD > Tomorrow Show With Tom Snyder: Punk & New Wave, The (2006) |
 | | From October 1973 to January 1982, Tom Snyder (not to be confused with the Tom Snyder who produced the animated television series “Dr. Katz” and “Home Movies”) hosted NBC’s late night talk show, “The Tomorrow Show,” which began taping in Los Angeles and later moved to New York City. |
 | | Although their music, in my humble opinion, leaves a bit to be desired, The Plasmatics, fronted by the notorious Wendy O. Williams, deliver the most memorable performance (although the same audience footage is strangely recycled for their second song); a raucous stage show of theatrical anarchy, culminating with a car explosion. |
 | | Between the bizarre, extremely tight close ups and the horrifically lame motion effects that plague the bands’ performances, the look of this show is severely dated, and not in a good way. |
