		They all had to run to the Stutz Bearcat and Miss O'Hare had to drive away quickly with several of the actors clinging onto the running boards - and she had to do all this while wearing only one high heel shoe.
		Many of the extras for filming on location in Pensacola, FL were Navy Flight Instructors and Students from NAS, and while official Navy policy objected to the servicemen receiving any pay, John Ford made sure that they were paid extra for their work on the film.
