The problem is that we've all grown up believing Disney is a wonderful place, where dreams come true, and gives that warm happy feeling and i still believe it to a certain extent.
Disney is based in America, marketed to Americans, the perceived wealthy of the world and all that good stuff.

When I was a little girl I wanted, desperately, to go first to Disneyland, and then, when it was built, Walt Disney World (which I figured was at least on the same coast that I lived on at the time).
