Germany's well-trained but frustrated young doctors are leaving the country for higher pay in ever greater numbers, leaving some hospitals struggling to fill positions.
Young clinic doctors never made a lot of money in Germany but knew that later in their career their tough beginnings at the hospital would pay off, said Favoccia.
An agreement was reached last week, providing clinic doctors with a pay raise of up to 20 percent based on their seniority and position, three additional days for continuing education training and a reversal of cuts to their year-end bonus.

Nearly 5,000 trainee doctors are to start a new training programme this week under a programme that will eventually apply to all junior doctors, it was announced today.
But the DoH denied that hundreds of doctors had been left "on the dole", and said competition for posts was always keen at this time of year.
Doctors' competence will be assessed throughout their training, meaning progress will be based on ability rather than time served.

I don't remember what he was going to be paid as a doctor but it didn't seem to be very much.

While I'll -personally- watch pretty much -any- Sean Young vehicle, I have to say this whole "Airplane"/"Police Story" approach depends too much on disconnected spoofs rather than well-packaged parody to make this and its cinematic cousins more than mildly funny.
For those who watch "General Hospital," and my wife did, it seemed to be more successful.
