		Sadly many contemporary shows tend to skimp on the importance of the theme tune and quite often you get some forgettable bland effort played on a Casio keyboard with the odd wail of synthesised sax in the background, with essence of polyphonic ring tone thrown in for good measure.
		As someone who issued four TV theme compilation CDs back in the 90s, many of which were personal favourites, my list could be very long indeed.
