  Themis family
A Hirayama family of asteroids in the outer part of the main asteroid belt at a mean distance of 3.13 AU from the Sun.
It is one of the most populous and well-defined families, consisting of a core of large objects surrounded by a cloud of mostly smaller ones.
The core includes (24) Themis, discovered in 1853 by the Italian astronomer Annibale de Gasparis (1819-1892), (62) Erato, (90) Antiope, (468) Lina, (526) Jena, and (846) Lipperta.

Themis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Themis was the name given by William Henry Pickering in 1905 to a spurious tenth satellite of Saturn which he claimed to have discovered.
Themis presided over the proper relation between man and woman, the basis of the rightly ordered family, and the family the pillar of the deme, and judges were often referred to as "themistopoloi" (the servants of Themis).

Themis delivered oracles at Delphi until Apollo, the lovely son of Leto, came to the city, killed the serpent Python which guarded the oracle, and sitting in the tripod, took over it.
Themis told the Titan Prometheus 1 (who called her "mother", but so he called Gaia too, as some will have it that Gaia and Themis were one and the same) not to join the TITANS in their war against the OLYMPIANS, because in that war, the clever not the brute, would prevail.
Themis was deemed guardian of men's oaths, and for that reason she is also called goddess of oaths.

 Themis
Themis also has a heavenly, or celestial character, as head of the "Supreme Court." On Mt. Olympus, she is the one who summons the gods to counsel, even though Zeus presides over them.
The origins of Themis as Titan of remote times indicates that she is a fundamental component of the materiality of the universe, and an instinctual force in the human personality.
Themis underlies reality, patterning matter through dynamic equilibrium, no matter what mankind's current evaluation of her laws may be.

'The+' indicates the Erato subfamily of the Themis family, 'Eos+' indicates the Dorothea subfamily of the Eos family, 'Kor+' indicates the Dresda subfamily of the Koronis family, and 'Flo=' and 'Flo/' indicate the Berolina and Iduberga subfamilies of the Flora family, respectively.
Family identifications are treated as character data, even when a number is used to identify the family, and are therefore always left- justified in the field.
Blank entries indicate either that the object was not considered a family member in the corresponding analysis, or, especially in the case of the higher numbered objects, the object was unknown at the time of the analysis.

The current age of the family is a free, adjustable parameter in the simulation; for Themis it ranges from 2 Gyr to 3.5 Gyr.
To recall, the principal "free parameters" of the simulation are: (i) the age of the family, (ii) the f_KE factor that tunes initial compactness of the family (in semimajor axes), (iii) the empirical factors cf1 and cf2 of the axis-reorientation and disruption timescale.

The obvious speculation that a single collision formed both the Themis family and ejected the 1981QA family into its present orbit is flawed by the observation that although 1981QA has a somewhat uncertain spectral type (QRS; [6]), it is, however, distinctly different from the C types that dominate the Themis family (C.R. An asteroid family is a group of minor planets that share similar orbital elements, such as semimajor axis, eccentricity, and orbital inclination.
Most asteroid families are found in the main asteroid belt, although several family-like groups such as the Pallas, Hungaria, and the Phocacea group lie at smaller semi-major axis or larger inclination than the main belt.
Metis was once considered to be a member of an asteroid family (the Metis family), but more recent searches for prominent families did not recognize any such group, nor is a clump evident in the vicinity of Metis by visual inspection of proper orbital element diagrams.
