 EPIGONI, Greek Mythology Link.
Thersander 1, son of Polynices and Argia 1 (daughter of Adrastus 1), was determined to sit on the throne he believed should have belonged to his father, by deposing his cousin Laodamas 2, son of Eteocles 1, now king of Thebes.
Thersander 1, son of Polynices, married Amphiaraus' daughter Demonassa 4, and had by her a son Tisamenus 1, who in time became king of Thebes.
Some say that Thersander 1 was killed by Telephus, son of Heracles 1, when the Achaean fleet, sailing against Troy, arrived by mistake in Mysia.

Thersander 1 is son of Polynices and Argia 1, princess of Argos and daughter of Adrastus 1, son of Talaus, son of Bias 1, son of Amythaon 1, son of Cretheus 1, son of Aeolus 1, son of Hellen 1, son of Deucalion 1, the man who survived the Flood.
Tisamenus 1, son of Thersander 1 and Demonassa 4 (daughter of the Argive Amphiaraus who was one of the SEVEN), was not yet old enough to lead the second expedition against Troy after the reverse in Mysia.
Instead Peneleus led the Boeotians against Troy and never returned because he was killed during the Trojan War by the Mysian Eurypylus 6, son of Telephus, son of Heracles 1.
