Film students expect to be abused on a co-student's shoot, but everyone has their limits.
Since I would not be filming in New York, and I was hoping to afford dailies for at least a portion of the film, I elected to go with NFL Films in South Jersey.
I knew that many NYU students took years to make their thesis films, and I swore to myself that I would finish my thesis as fast as was humanly possible, if for no other reason than that I desperately wanted to leave New York.

The writing or creation of, and evaluation of the thesis are a yearlong process, during which the thesis student meets at scheduled intervals with his or her adviser to formulate, develop, and ultimately refine their thesis work.
The thesis grade does not appear on the student’s transcript as a separate course (The tutorial, VES 99, is the only course that appears on the transcript) but the thesis grade is averaged into the final department grade point average.
Any extension of the thesis beyond the maximum must be merited by the nature of the topic, or sustained excellence in the treatment of the subject, or both.

At the brainstorming session of more than 12 hours during which various forms of analysis were used, the panelists agreed that the Zapruder film as it is presented to the public to this day is an edited version which deletes several pieces of "missing time" by removing key frames and in some cases rearranging them.
The consensus was that the film was radically altered to delete evidence that JFK was struck in quick succession by several shots to the head described by Secret Serviceman Roy Kellerman as a "flurry of shells".
Zapruder was filming at 24 frames per second as he stated repeatedly to the Warren Commission, then every second of film should render a constant of at least 9.84 sequential frames showing one or the other light illuminated (.41 x 24 fps) not counting transition frames.

The documentary is still being filmed as we try to raise the money to complete it; the documentary follows the journey of the idea, and includes celebrity and non-celebrity bidding wars, and footage being filmed by our grass-roots producers around the world.
