	Third Watch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Third Watch was an NBC television drama set in New York City that ran from 1999 to 2005.
		While Third Watch was lauded for its emotional and honest portrayal of the events surrounding the 9/11 terrorist attacks, it was also criticized in some circles for extremely detailed violence and prevalent (by network television standards) profane language.
		Third Watch was not renewed by NBC in the spring of 2005, making the sixth season the show's last.

		Third watch is supposed to be about the Firemen, Paramedics and Police officers in their day to day activities on the job if I wanted drama I would watch the soaps.
		Third Watch used to be one of my "can't miss" shows, and I loved the juxtaposition of the viewpoints of the paramedics/firefighters/cops, but this season, since the writers and producers have turned it into just another soap copera, it is rank.
		Third Watch jumped the shark when the police were at war with the mafia boss, and nobody was killed.(police, I mean) Even Bosco, who was blown up, and in intensive care, or the cops in the hospital waiting room, ambushed by the goombas with the uzi's, who had to shoot at least 100 rounds.

		Third Watch had its problems with the pacing of the stories and the editing at first.
		But by mid-season the wirters and directors finally paced down the action only plotlines and let the cast cut out their characters much in the same way the actors on ER did so successfully over the years.
