		American Life is the ninth studio album and sixteenth recording by Madonna, released in 2003 (see 2003 in music).
		American Life is considered to be one of Madonna's riskiest albums both artistically and commercially.
		American Life saw Madonna collaborate again with Music producer Mirwais Ahmadzaï, with whom she co-wrote and produced most of the songs on the album.

		But who really cares- both 'American Life' and 'Hollywood' are fresh, passionate and slightly daring offerings by Madonna- it's very hard to believe there's any new territory left for this unrivalled artist to cover, but she's found it here and admirably makes it her own.
