The cancellation of Seven Days and the firing of Watson and LaPierre in the Spring of 1966 (Leiterman was later forced out) was met with a large public outcry, probably the largest in Canadian history for any TV program, and certainly for any public affairs program.
Watson, Leiterman, and the Seven Days team often seemed to achieve the goal of involving the viewer in the emotion and actuality of television while innovating on and stretching the conventions of TV journalism.
In the years since Seven Days aired it has taken on the mythic mantle of "that was the way it was in the good old days" of Canadian TV journalism.

 Who Are These Seven Kings?
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Since all of the seven original kings of Rome were kings of Rome, and since all the seven hills of Rome were within the walls of Rome, it would make sense for the seven kings of Revelation 17 to also all be in some way a part of Rome.
A popular rendering of the phrase "one hour" has been "at the same time." Thus these ten kings, already identified with the ten toes and horns of Daniel 2 and 7, receive their kingdom at the same time as the beast.

History & info - the days of the week
One viable theory correlates the seven day week to the seven (astrological) "planets" known to the ancients: Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn.
A solar year could be more evenly divided into weeks of 5 days, and the moon phases five-day and six-day weeks make a better short term fit (6 times 5 is 30) to the lunar (synodic) month (of about 29.53 days) than the current week (4 times 7 is 28).
To calculate the day on which a particular date falls, the following algorithm may be used (the divisions are integer divisions, in which remainders are discarded).
