Artistopia Music - Weird Al Yankovic
He has contributed songs to several films, including the original song "This Is The Life", featured on the soundtrack for Johnny Dangerously; the title track to his own movie, UHF; and a parody of the James Bond title sequences in "Spy Hard", the title track to a 1996 Leslie Nielsen movie directed by Rick Friedberg.
Al is so clean-cut that the producers couldn't find any of the typical angst-laced problems that make many rock stars' stories compelling (as Al noted in an interview with BTM), so their angle was on Al's life as a bachelor and (what they presumed was) his loneliness.
Although many of his songs are parodies of contemporary radio hits, it is rare that the song's primary topic of lampooning is that artist.

 Remastering a Video
At Anime Expo 2000, I premiered one of my favorite AMVs, "This is the Life!" The video primarily featured footage from Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro to Weird Al Yankovic's song "This is the Life", it also had scenes from other Lupin III anime features; Mystery of Mamo and Plot of the Fuma Clan.
I don't know anyone with Mystery of Mamo on Laserdisc, but I was able to rip footage from the DVD.
I had DVDs for both Castle of Cagliostro and Mystery of Mamo, however I lacked the know-how as to Ripping the video from the DVD.

He'll take a hit song like Michael Jackson's "Beat It" and turn it into "Eat It." So Jon and the rest of Weird Al's band get a workout having to duplicate various styles of music from the original hits.

Weird Al Yankovic Running With Scissors Al's latest release, Running With Scissors, was kind of a disappointment if held up to the standards of the hit Bad Hair Day album or even the Off the Deep End album.
Unfortunately, although this one is good, it somehow lacks the life that the polkas from Bad Hair Day, Off the Deep End, and even "Bohemian Polka" from Alapalooza, had.

In addition to his parodies, Yankovic also includes a medley of various songs on most albums, each one reinterpreted as a polka, with the choruses of various songs juxtaposed for humorous effect.
One of his most controversial parodies was "Amish Paradise", based on "Gangsta's Paradise" which, ironically, hip-hop artist Coolio had created using the music of Stevie Wonder's "Pastime Paradise" from 1976's Songs in the Key of Life.
Coolio claimed he was upset, but legal action never materialized, and Coolio accepted royalty payments for the song.
