Thom Brennaman is an American sportscaster, and the son of sportscaster Marty Brennaman.
Brennaman called play-by-play for the Cincinnati Reds (along with his father) in the late 1980s.
In addition to his work with Fox (which now includes broadcasting college football), Brennaman currently does television broadcasts for the Arizona Diamondbacks, and he also added a play-by-play announcer for Microsoft Baseball 2001 and Playstation 2 and X-Box for All-Star Baseball 2002 with Bob Brenly and All-Star Baseball 2003-2005 with Steve Lyons during the ballgame.

I was thinking about this regarding Marty and Thom Brennaman recently.
Marty is in the Hall of Fame; son Thom will make it only by paying the admission fee.
Thom Brennaman remarked how perfectly executed it all was, and it echoed the cliche made earlier by, I think, Brennaman himself that "the teams that can do the little things are the teams that win in the postseason."
