John Culpepper was also a juror in Wilkes County in 1790, and this must be John the son of Joseph, since his nephew John had returned to North Carolina at least by 1788, the year of his marriage in NC.
John Culpepper, believed by this writer to be his father, moved from Anson County, NC, to Washington County, GA, perhaps as early as 1786.
That Henry Culpepper was the son of John and Agnes or Aggy Culpepper is not proven, but this writer feels that Henry's associations with John's known children, David and Sampson, and his close physical proximity to them, makes it almost certain that he was John's son.
