Thomas Herschmiller (born April 6, 1978 in Comox, British Columbia) is a Canadian rower.
Herschmiller suffered three chipped vertebrae in his neck as a result of the accident.
Herschmiller is a member of the Men's Heavyweight Fours rowing crew that brought home silver from the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Herschmiller's Canadian Four led the boat from Great Britain heading into the final 500 meters, but the Brits crossed the line less than a tenth-of-a-second ahead of Canada in the end.
