Thomas Goode Jones (November 26, 1844–April 28, 1914) was an American Democratic politician who was the Governor of Alabama from 1890 to 1894.
Jones was re-elected two years later and chosen to serve as the house speaker.
In 1901 the former governor was elected president of the Alabama Bar Association, was a member of the Alabama Constitutional Convention and was appointed U.S. District Judge of the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama by President Theodore Roosevelt.

Thomas Quinn Jones (born August 19, 1978 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia) is an American football running back for the Chicago Bears.
Jones was originally drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the first round (seventh overall) of the 2000 NFL Draft after his junior season out of the University of Virginia, from which he graduated after just three years, never missing a practice or a class.
Heading into the 2005 NFL season, Jones figured to see his role on the Bears reduced as they used their top draft pick on running back Cedric Benson.
