thomas has done just fine with us,we need a good keeper permanently now,it'll be silly to wait out the matt clarke thing,don't get me wrong I like clarke very much but he is a liability even if he does come back just through lack of match practice,not to mention he is injury prone.
Myhre may have conceeded 5 at Wigan and 4 at Preston but none were really his fault.
Myhre on the other hand has great presence and is about the best keeper on crosses we have had for a while, even the great Martyn, who I think was class, was quite average in the air.

If only the rest of players had shown the passion Thomas showed in just 90 minutes yesterday the whole time under Kember im pretty sure Steve would still be in a job now.
Thomas has been an excellent goalkeeper since he came to England and as you have all said and i said earlier in the thread, we need to sign him permanently if not then at least for the rest of this season on loan.
I'm not so naive to think that Mhyre loves Palace, but he clearly does love his football and is passionate about it and any team he is playing for, and in addition he is a fabulous 'keeper.

Firstly he was recalled to the Norwegian national team, then in March he moved on loan to FC Copenhagen where he featured regularly in the closing matches of the 2000-01 season, helping them to the Danish League title.
