Thomas Nevile (died 1615) was an English clergyman and academic who was Dean of Peterborough (??-1597) and Canterbury (1597-??), Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge (1582-93), and Master of Trinity College, Cambridge (1593-1615).
A member of the historic Nevile family, he originally came to Cambridge to study at Pembroke.
The college he inherited was little more than the architectural remains of the colleges that had united to form Trinity, and he set about using both his personal wealth and influence to create a setting unrivalled in academic England.

Thomas William Palmer, nicknamed "Tomy," was born between 1822 and 1824, probably in Ireland, according to his father.
Thomas was a Justice of the Peace in 1859 (Ellis 1808, 274) and was living in Putman Township, Livingston County, Michigan.

 Nevile's Court, Trinity College, Cambridge - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nevile's Court is a court in Trinity College, Cambridge, created by a bequest by the college's master, Thomas Nevile.
The initial court, completed in 1612 was approximately 60% of its current length, with a west side consisting of a wall in which was set a gate leading to the river-bank.
Nevile's Court was extensively restored and remodelled in the 18th century, when the gables, which are shown on the print of the College made by David Loggan were removed.

 History of Tudhoe Village: Dissent and Rebellion in County Durham
Tudhoe may or may not have remained in Neville ownership, but it is next recorded in 1264, during the Barons' War, when Simon de Montfort led the rebellion against King Henry III that led indirectly to the establishment of the English Parliament.
Ralph Neville's son and heir was John Neville, who fought at both Crecy and Neville's Cross and in 1375 gave to Durham Cathedral the famous Neville Screen that still stands in the nave.
Meanwhile, the Catholic Earls of Westmorland, Charles Neville, and Northumberland, Thomas Percy, were planning a revolt in the North, possibly with the connivance and certainly with the knowledge of Norfolk (who was also the brother of Neville's wife Jane, Countess of Westmorland).

The court was completed by Thomas Nevile, master of the college, in the early years of the 17th century, when he rearranged the existing buildings to form a single court.
Starting in the northeast corner at E staircase, in which Isaac Newton had his rooms, and moving clockwise, one first reaches the Porters' Lodge and Great Gate, begun in 1490 as the entrance to King's Hall and completed in 1535.
In the centre of the court is an ornate fountain, built during Nevile's time, and traditionally fed by a pipe from Conduit Head in west Cambridge.
