Fortress Thomond has proven to be Munster's safe ticket to the last four since season 1999/2000.
Even if Thomond Park is developed to its proposed 25,000 stadium, there is now no guarantee that fans will not be asked to go to Dublin to play a quarter final game.
Forget about fortress Thomond, forget about Limerick, the capital of Irish rugby, forget about the people who contributed so much to the game from this region and continue to do so.
