Three Cliffs Bay on the Gower Peninsula of South Wales
Three Cliffs Bay (grid reference SS535876), otherwise Three Cliff Bay, is a bay on the south coast of the Gower Peninsula near the City of Swansea, Wales.
The cliffs are limestone, about 20 m high, and are a popular destination for rock climbers with 20 climbs in the lower grades.

The trail also offers waterfalls, cliffs, and a trail that's long enough to make it worth a 1.5 hour drive, but it is not too difficult for novice hikers.
The path follows along the side of the ridge next to the creek, and except for a few short inclines, the most difficult part of the trail is watching for exposed roots.

Although postmarked in 1935, because of the scarcity of visible homes on the far cliffs it appears as though the picture comes from an earlier time, possibly the mid-1920's.

I asked a likely-looking local (out walking her dog and husband) where to pick up the path to Three Cliffs and she told me, but seemed quite quizzed out that I intended to go all the way there on foot.
Pwlldu Head was the quietest (and windiest!) part of the walk, although Caswell to Pwlldu came a close second.
I got off at Sketty, walked through the park, just missed another bus on Mumbles Road (three times in the last fortnight has a bus pulled out as I ran to catch it, being less than 30 feet from the back of the bus when it disappeared), and finally made it home at 7:30.
