I had the choice of Three Days of the Condor, some German film about World War II with English subtitles, or any number of '70's British sit-coms that had been taped off of PBS, and so here we are.
This movie, starring Robert Redford, tries to be a suspenseful political thriller, and succeeds to some degree, but lets everything go for naught, as this film ends without any problem solving ending; thus while the movie actually, physically ends, and the credits roll, we are left with many an untied string dangling before us.
With an ending as weak, unfulfilling, and open as this, Three Days of the Condor does not leave you with a good taste in your mouth.

All-Reviews.com Movie/Video Review: Three Days of the Condor
Although commercially successful, "Three Days of the Condor" never quite achieved the critical attention of other Redford films of the era, such as "All the President's Men" and "The Sting".
But "Condor" was a very good film as well, and its themes of governmental conspiracy and paranoia reflected cynical post-Watergate attitudes towards political institutions.
Based on David Rayfiel's novel "Six Days of the Condor" (Hollywood is always abridging the classics), the film received a single Oscar nomination, for best editing.

Three Days of the Condor should be considered not so much as a movie as what Hollywood calls a project.
Based on a least-selling novel called Six Days of the Condor, by James Grady, such a project is conceived and comes into being only because Redford agrees to show up in it.
Condor is so pat, however, that no matter what extravagances of plot were supplied, everything would still come out the same way in the end: empty.

Horse riding is the easiest way to access these high mountains, where there are nearly always trails, made in the ancient of days by arrieros (horsemen) driving cattle to and from Argentina, and riding up to care for the horses which are pastured there.
We offer camping or hotel alternatives, or a mixture of the two, since although the tracks are remote there is a dirt road to a small nearby mountain resort, Bano Morales, where there is also a national park with some good walking.
