We have seen the districts proposed by the committee for the political distribution by the Assembly of New York for the Bronx borough.
As a Bronx resident myself, I notice sometimes the districts are not fairly represented, but I also feel that the new changes will make this borough, and all the district in the borough fairly represented.
They're affected by of highway congestion, flooding, shoreline erosion and concerns that are not held in common with the northeast and northwest Bronx, and lower Westchester County.

 Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95, I-295 and US 1)
One recommended route, a controlled-access "Cross Bronx" expressway that was to be open to all vehicles, was to connect the new George Washington Bridge with the then-proposed Bronx-Whitestone Bridge, as well as to a proposed expressway connecting the Triborough Bridge with Connecticut.
The Cross Bronx Expressway was characteristic of the pre- and early-Interstate era expressways in New York City.
Having grown up in New York City at the time when the Cross Bronx Expressway was built, and having some of those primarily Jewish relatives in the West Bronx, I strongly disagree with the conclusions advanced by Robert Caro.

E-Z Pass is administered by the Regional Consortium, consisting of area transportation agencies, including the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Bridges and Tunnels evolved from the Triborough Bridge Authority, a public benefit corporation created by the New York State Legislature in 1933 to build the Triborough Bridge when the city's attempts were halted by the Depression.
Between 1934 and 1968, under the leadership of Robert Moses, the authority grew in a series of mergers involving four other agencies: the Henry Hudson Parkway Authority, the Marine Parkway Authority, the New York City Parkway Authority, and the New York City Tunnel Authority.
Its surplus revenues, previously used to finance new projects for the automobile, were redirected to public transportation.

Located on Blackwell Island, the lighthouse marks the eastern entrance to the East River, near the Ft. Schuyler and the Throgs Neck Bridge.
In 1906, it was replaced by a new 35 ft red brick tower and moved about 700 ft southwest of the old light.
It remained actively manned until 1934 when the USCG discontinued the lighthouse and erected the current one.
