Thumbelina (1994 film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Thumbelina is a 1994 animated film directed by Don Bluth, and released by Warner Bros. It is based on the original Thumbelina fairy tale written by Hans Christian Andersen.
This film was not as well received as An American Tail or The Land Before Time.
With Thumbelina, the criticisms came from the saccharine story and songs, and weaker animation, much unlike other Don Bluth films, which, in the opinions of many, never bordered on being overly cutesy.
