German industrial conglomerate ThyssenKrupp AG on Friday, Aug. 11, 2006 reported a jump in third quarter net profit to euro 468 million (US$601.7 million), amid high demand for its products, particularly steel.
ThyssenKrupp said it has not determined the site for the plant project, but said potential locations in Alabama, Arkansas and Louisiana have been identified.
