Tikbalang is one of the Philippine mythological creatures that is half-human, half-animal.
Tikbalang is less well known than Kapre, as a Tikbalang usually appears up in the mountains, while Kapre may be found both in the mountains and in town.
Tikbalang only scares travelers, if it happens that you lost on the woods and it seems that you're walking and turning on a same path, it could be the Tikbalang who cast a spell on you.
