		His longest-running project is the band Lacrimosa, which since its debut in 1990 has produced 9 albums, which embrace a diverse range of gothic, darkwave and orchestral musical styles.
		Wolff composes, arranges and writes the lyrics for almost all of Lacrimosa's songs, as well as singing, playing piano and contributing to the design of the albums' sleeve art.

		Some of the arrangements are without vocals, some are with Tilo and/or Anne, and some are with a choir, and in all these cases they are fairly accessible and very beautiful, often mesmerizingly so.
		It is almost entirely in German, except for one song in English - Tilo sticks almost entirely to a clean, smooth, warm, passionate style with very little extreme vox, though he can still get pretty aggressive and menacing at times.
		Tilo Wolff is the male singer and mastermind behind this band as well as the label they are on, Hall of Sermon, which also features such excellent bands as Dreams of Sanity, Artrosis, The Gallery, and they will release Evergrey in much of Europe.
