| | metas: Time and Frequency - Geodetic Time Transfer |
 | | The geodetic time (or frequency) transfer (GeTT) uses geodetic GPS receivers and interferometric data-processing on the basis of all five GPS observables (Code CA, Code P1, Code P2, Phase L1, Phase L2). |
 | | Transfer occurs between two GeTT stations, each of whose GPS receivers are controlled by the respective clock being compared. |
 | | The data of the two terminals are electronically transferred to and recorded in a data-processing centre, and, 5 days after the observations are made, the results are released, in which the effects of satellite orbits, Earth rotation parameters, and the troposphere, to mention just the most important, can be taken into account. |
