		Timiş (Hungarian: Temes) is a county (judeţ) in Western Romania, in Western Transylvania - Banat region, with the capital city at Timişoara (population: 305,977 as of 2004).
		The county is crossed by many rivers, the most important being the Bega River and the Timiş River.
		Timiş County has one of the most dynamical economies in Romania, being one the region with the highest ratings of foreign investments due to its tradition and its possition.
