| | The Jews and My Visit to Timisoara, Romania, in 2001 - Stormfront White Nationalist Community (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-07) |
 | | Chisinau was remarkably free of Gypsies, in fact, apart from Jews, who do not make themselves obvious, I saw few anti-social elements at all in the time I was there, although I am really only familiar with a small part of the city near the centre. |
 | | In Romania some problems are more evident: groups of solvent-sniffing Gypsies milling around Timisoara Station, Turks impersonating policemen trying to extract money from you, but there is plenty to compensate the traveller for this kind of unpleasantness, not to mention the beauty of Romanian women. |
 | | In my short stay in town, I happened to notice something in English on the front page of the local newspaper, which featured an article discussing the protests of Romanians in the US at a dinner organised in honour of President Iliescu by the Romanian American Chamber of Commerce (see attachment). |
