Ting Kau Bridge, at the northern end of the Rambler Strait, is one of the major sections linking Route 3 from the north-western New Territories to Kowloon.
The 1,177-metre cable-stayed bridge is supported by three towers, with the 200 m middle tower being the tallest.
As the bridge is a single-tower design with decks on both sides, a separating slot connected by cross girders, is formed between the two decks.

The Tsing Ma Bridge, which spans 1377m across the busy Ma Wan Channel, is the second longest bridge in the world after the Humber Bridge in Britain.
A derrick crane with a 200 tonne-capacity was positioned on the deck to assist with the lifting of the steel trusses.
The deck of the Tsing Ma bridge is pin-jointed to the reinforced concrete structure of the Ma Wan viaduct at one end and rests on a sliding joint which also acts as the expansion joint at the other end of Tsing Yi.

Ting Kau, the longest cable-stayed bridge in Asia, was completed in 1997 in time for the opening of the Chep Lap Kok airport in Hong Kong.
NSS installed a series of 2.5m wide, 27m span travelling platforms to provide access to the underside of the bridge for installation of the service duct work and other ancillary equipment.

30 Ma Wan is the island that separates the Tsing Ma and Kap Shui Mun Bridges.
The residential part was built to resemble a resort, with bridge and ocean views.
Unlike the rest of the city, this residential development focussed on a resort lifestyle, so the buildings are not as tall and bunched up and the beautification is much better.

The entrance of Tsing Yi Natural Trail is just 10 mins walk from my home, it was constructed in celebration of the 1997 handover so it's also known as 'Handover Trail'.
Stretching about 6.2 km long, panorama of eastern Tsing Yi, the shipyard in western Tsing Yi, Ting Kau Bridge and Tsing Ma Bridge can be overlooked at the mountain top of the trail.
This is an easy-to-walk trail with concrete stairs and relatively flat route, which attracts quite a lot of morning hikers and visitors.
