		Most of the material featured on the album can be found from either the Tribe's five albums or their various soundtrack appearances.
		Tip has always been one of the most underrated lyricist in Hip Hop and "The Night He Got Caught" is proof as Tip delivers a great story telling track.
		The only problem with the album cuts featured on the album is their sound quality, which is unacceptable and just a lazy move from Jive.

		From taking a look at the album sleeve, we know that there will be pieces of Tribe in the album which has been trademarked by the production style of the Ummah.
		The album starts with "Wait up," which shows the typical Tribe feel of sitting heavy on beat 1 and 3, but the hook piano sample is somehow more Q-Tip than Pfife.
		Unfortunately, the album lacks fluidity from track to track and an insightful piece of Q-Tip's mind which we don't even hear until the hidden track at the end of the record.

	Midnight Marauders
		Right this time Tip takes the plaudits as he kills the track and fits the beat like a glove: “See, lyrically I'm Mario Andretti on the mo-mo” Phife comes off nice again and shows that this may be the album to bring him the recognition he deserves.
		If you are in the mood for chilling to the album you’ll listen to it and love it, but if you are listening to the album, I mean actually listening to it the track sounds weaker than the rest.
		Tip and Phife again show the form they were in for three whole albums with some amazing wordplay and flow.

		The one downside is that tip repeats the first verse, and I honestly have no idea why this was done other than it may have been repeated in order to emphasize the message.
		Phife and Tip emcee about different subjects but mostly about hip-hop, they also seem to be having fun when they drop their lyrics.
		Tip does the rest of the track and he flows very well with the old style kick drumbeat and jazz fused melody.

	History
		Finger Eleven released their debut album TIP on August 26, 1997, which was produced and influenced by Arnold Lanni (Our Lady Peace).
		On September 15, 1998, TIP was re-released in the U.S. remixed and renamed “Consolation Day” to “Awake and Dreaming.” Their single “Quicksand” reached the top 20 on the Billboard Rock Chart in the U.S. While in Canada their other single “Above” is getting heavy rotation in Much Music.
		The album TIP, was re-released in early March of 1999 in Canada on Wind-Up records.

		OK, I just received the new fantastic album from Listenable office and I must say I'm fucking impressed how great and innovative it is! Well, it was clear to me that you can't make anything more technically complicated that TAT album and it seems like I was right.
		TIP: Mutant is still sleeping, Listenable thought that symphonic fl metal was getting unpopular and expected more from the sales of "The Aeonic Majesty", I thought it sold O.K for a debut album but it was no point arguing with them since they didn`t believe in Mutant.

		This is one of those albums that you can put in your player and listen to the whole way through over and over again and not get sick of it.
		I thought their 2nd album could not be topped but after listening to Tip for the 50th time it is very hard to distinguish a favorite album.
		I cannot reccomend one F11 album over the other since they are SO different in their styles, but equally awseome in my opinion.

		I have a Christmas album that includes every Christmas since we were married in 1996 and every year I take a close up of new ornaments that we bought on vacations or that were gifts to us.
		A few years ago I bought the red CM album with silver ornaments on the front and that is our ornament album - used to document the story of each ornament.
		Some year I would like to do an album where I do a retrospective and put all of the traditions into sort of a \"Throught the Years\" format to show how are traditions evolve through the years.

		If the iTunes Music Store doesn't have the album image, you can also grab it from http://www.allmusic.com/ or other locations on the net as well, but typically those compressed jpegs don't look as good as the images from Apple.
		To apply the art to the album, you must select the album and hit cmd-i (get info) and drag the art to the "album art" window.

		As long as you know what type of album you want to use, you can do layouts and safely store them until you find the album you want/can afford.
		Besides a good album and a selection of cardstock, a beginner would need scissors and a paper trimmer.

		When I read that the Q-Tip album was "lazy" and "lackluster" in mainstream pubs that normally focus on white-dominated rock music, my immediate assumption was that the album must simply be superb.
		The main complaint in the bulk of mainstream media about this album was that (and I'm paraphrasing) it's a lot less "arty" than the previous ATCQ efforts.
		The liner notes start out a little heavy (weighing in at 28 pages), and perhaps even a little heavy-handed, but it's not that often that an R and B cd is released to such anticipation as is the case with D'Angelo's Voodoo.

	Jive Records - A Tribe Called Quest
		Their second album The Low End Theory was, quite simply, the most consistent and flowing hip-hop album ever recorded, though the trio moved closer to their harder contemporaries on 1993's Midnight Marauders.
		A spot on the 1993 Lollapalooza Tour showed their influence with the alternative crowd — always a bedrock of A Tribe Called Quest's support — but the group kept it real on 1996's Beats, Rhymes and Life, a dedication to the streets and the hip-hop underground.
		No matter how solid their debut was, second album The Low End Theory outdid all expectations and has held up as perhaps the best hip-hop LP of all time.
