		When the Railways introduced a new overnight train from Erode to Chennai via Karur and Tiruchi last year, the people of this district pleaded that the Thanjavur composition of the Rockfort Express be attached to the Erode-Chennai express at Tiruchi junction, so that the full complement of the Rockfort Express could be allotted to Tiruchi.
