	'Titans' is Spelling's latest effort 'Titans' delights the critics.
		During most of the sessions this month between series stars and producers and members of the television critics corps, the critics kept their views close to their vests - preferring instead to save their praise or poison pens until later.
		The series from executive producer Aaron Spelling ("Dynasty," "Melrose Place") generated the biggest open response from the members of the Television Critics Association since the group was stood up by Dr. Laura Schlessinger three weeks ago.
		Principal, who hasn't done a TV series since leaving her most identified role (as Pam Ewing on "Dallas") in the 1980s, said she initially resisted going back to a weekly TV serial.

		One thing is for certain, the Teen Titans have a wealth of fringe characters to work with for cameos this season, and the incorporation of Kole and Gnarrk just goes to show that the team behind the teens is dedicated to working these ancillary characters in, somehow or someway.
		In the end, the Titans manage to scrape out a win and offer membership to their newfound friends, but not before we are given the inevitable cutaway to the Brotherhood of Evil, waiting, plotting, and eager to strike.

		Sure, his history with the Titans goes all the way back to issue #7 of their original run in the sixties, but this doesn’t really hold much weight when it comes to villainy status.
		Laughable, I know, but once again the team behind the animated series has managed to extract elements from the source material and come up with an episode that is as whimsical as it is worthwhile on an entertainment level.
		The Titan’s chase sequence, complete with the pre-requisite sixties style music, recalls Scooby Doo, and Scooby Doo’s chase sequences in turn recall The Monkees, who as we all know were making a play on the infamous A Hard Days' Night routine by the Beatles.
