		The Teen Titans comics stumbled to find an audience in their early days, but became one of DC’s most beloved franchises in the 1980s when writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Pérez began work on the series The New Teen Titans.
		New Teen Titans became Tales of the Teen Titans for a year (not to be confused with the earlier limited series), while a new series named The New Teen Titans launched with a new #1.
		The brainchild of writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Pérez, New Teen Titans was widely thought of as DC's answer to the increasingly popular Uncanny X-Men from Marvel Comics: Both series depicted young heroes from disparate backgrounds whose internal conflicts are as integral to the series as is their combat against villains.

		New Teen Titans #28 [1983]: Changeling captures Terra and brings her to Titans' Tower, where she claims that she has been committing crimes for terrorists who are holding her parents captive; Terra and the Titans confront her parents' supposed captors.
		This is comics, however, and a D.N.A. test proves little; she could be a clone or from an alternate timeline [we only have Time Trapper's word that she is from this timeline].
		Introduced in New Titans #79 [1991], a mysterious group of teenagers was trying to track down Donna Troy in an attempt to kill her.

		The New Teen Titans started out with several of the same characters as the 1960s version — but with a difference.

		There was also that comic that had at least two stories, one a recounting of the Native American Lady of the Lake folktale and another about the fellow named Talos that because ruler of the universe, that I asked about on this here blog several months ago and stumped everybody.
		At left is the cover of the comic that I touched upon briefly in one of them- #16, which featured that incredibly strange story about the 13th floor of a skyscraper and the weird-ass alien creatures that were making life miserable for everyone that had the misfortune to be stuck there, including our heroine.

	Teen Titans #33 Review - Silver Bullet Comics
		The Titans Annual did not come out until a week after this issue, so there was a bit of a spoiler in this issue.
		In fact, the only downside of the entire story is that only three Titans appear, and one of them isn't on the current team.
		However, the large double page spread of the multiple Earths over Titans Tower and the various flashbacks of Titans history are excellent, and should hopefully be made into a poster.

		The first disk had an excellent look behind the creation of the original 1980's comic, so I wonder if there will be anything along those lines for the second volume.
		At first, I couldn't stand what they had done to one of my favorite comics as a teenager, but I learned to like it and now my daughter and I watch it together, along with the regular series.
		Marv Wolfman, who wrote for the comic series, wrote two episodes, one of which was "Deep Six", the episode which involves Aqualad, the other, "Titans East", for the third season.
