Tiziano Vecellio nació en la localidad de Piove di Cadore, en los Alpes Vénetos, en el seno de una familia que gozaba de una importante posición, habiendo desarrollado sus miembros respetables profesiones desde el siglo XIII.
Los biógrafos de Tiziano argumentan que el "estilo seco y duro" de Gentile no agradó al joven aprendiz por lo que volvió a cambiar de taller, eligiendo ahora a Giovanni Bellini, cuñado de Mantegna y considerado el máximo pintor de su tiempo.
Tiziano se siente viejo y abandonado lo que provocará un cambio en su pintura, introduciendo mayor tensión y dramatismo como se aprecia en los Entierros de Cristo que guarda el Museo del Prado o en la Coronación de espinas de Munich.

Tiziano's performance attracted the attention of the producers Mara Majonchi and Alberto Salerno, who offered him a deal and started to work together; they teamed him up with several arranger until they finally found Michele Canova who is the one who finally understood and transformed Tiziano's ideas into the sought for sound.
In 2001 Tiziano signed a deal with EMI and in July of the same year he released his first single ever: the title of this single is "Perdono" and in matter of two months he finds himself on top of both the Italian singles sales chart and the airplay.
