		Private Tomb KV 46 is located between KV 3 and KV 4 in the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank at Luxor (ancient Thebes).
		The tomb is entered by way of a stairway that leads to a well cut, large corridor, actually slightly larger then the corridor in Tutankhamun's tomb.

		Similar pots have been found close to a number of ancient tombs, the plaster having been used to seal up the tomb doorway.
		Peter himself unearthed one a few years ago at Hierakonpolis in southern Egypt, whilst another was found near the entranceway of the tomb of Yuya and Tjuyu, the great-grandparents of Tutankhamun.
		Of course the one we've found is probably nothing to do with a tomb at all.

		During thirteen seasons in the Valley of the Kings, Davis had the good fortune to employ a number of famously talented excavators.
		Under his watch, James E. Quibell uncovered the tomb of Yuya and Tjuyu in 1903 (known today as KV46), Edward Ayrton discovered the tomb usually identified as Akhenaten's or Smenkhkare's (KV55) in 1907 and of Horemheb (KV57) in 1908, and a young Howard Carter helped excavate the tomb of Tuthmosis IV (KV43) in 1903.
		Carter left Davis in 1907 to join the Earl Carnarvon, and a few years later, Davis is reported to have said that the Valley of the Kings was exhausted as an archaeological site.

		They were the parents of Queen Tiya but i didn't read any more about it yet.
