		TSWL is a competently made and intermittently interesting film, but that's about the most I can say for it; it's so dated and silly that I found it to be a not-terribly-enjoyable experience.
		TSWL itself wasn't the freshest story in the world when it appeared in 1967 - it resembles similar "makeover" stories like Pygmalion and The Miracle Worker plus other classroom flicks like The Blackboard Jungle - but the story hadn't been done to death at that point.
		To Sir, With Love appears in both its original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1 and in a fullscreen version on this double-sided, single-layered DVD; the widescreen rendition has been enhanced for 16X9 televisions.

		The astonishing thing about To Sir With Love is that a lot of the issues that are raised in this 1966 creation from James Clavell would have been very close to the censor's bone.
		Speaking of Lulu, the title song (To Sir With Love, if you hadn't sort of guessed) is just terrific and you can easily waste 20 minutes or so going over the title scene just to listen to her great voice.
