Toby McKeehan’s influence on Christian music in the past 10 years or so has been undeniable.
His work with dc Talk made him the popular face in the industry that he is. I can remember when I first heard the boys cover “Lean On Me”, and it hit me that Christian music is something beyond the hymns I had sang in church.
Around 10 years later, Toby’s style has changed, his production has greatly improved yet one thing remains, and this one thing I find the most crucial: the man hasn’t seemed to have grown in his lyrics aside from changing with the musical fads.
