Tocumwal (35°48′S 145°34′E) is a small town located in the southern Riverina district of New South Wales, Australia near the Victorian border, in the Berrigan Shire Local Government Area.
Because of the break-of-gauge between the railways north and south of Tocumwal, this station was a natural choice for military oriented storage facilities and munitions dumps.
Tocumwal is in the federal Division of Farrer and the state Electoral district of Murrumbidgee.
