		The county lies entirely within the Rosebud Indian Reservation and is coterminous with the main reservation (exclusive of off-reservation trust lands, which lie in four nearby counties).
		Todd County is one of two counties in South Dakota that does not have its own county seat (Shannon County is the other).
		In the county, the population was spread out with 44.00% under the age of 18, 10.40% from 18 to 24, 25.10% from 25 to 44, 14.80% from 45 to 64, and 5.80% who were 65 years of age or older.
