		Wadena County has an estimated 2001 population of 13,646 people and is bordered by five different counties: Hubbard to the north, Cass to the northeast, Todd to the south, Ottertail to the southwest, and Becker to the Northwest.
		Wadena County is still home to a major patio and outdoor furniture industry, as well as several banks, realtors, motels and restaurants.

		Elizabeth Gibbs was born in Camdon county, New Jersey, and came to Illinois with her parents, Martin and Hannah Gibbs and three brothers and two sisters, and one sister-in-law.
		He was a member of the Knox County Agricultural Board, and had been at the grounds attending to some of the work of the fair, and while crossing the track was struck by the morning passenger train and instantly killed, his neck being broken and his skull crushed.
