Tolka Park is situated on Richmond Road in Drumcondra on Dublin's Northside.
There are free car parks in operation near the ground but to get to these you should turn left at Whitehall onto Griffith Avenue, right at the second lights, onto Grace Park Road and this will bring you to the Ballybough end of Tolka Park.
Fans are asked to refrain from, parking in front of or blocking any driveways or laneways, parking illegally on Richmond Road or Grace Park Road, or parking at all in Grace Park Gardens or Avenue.

Parking will be at a premium around Tolka Park, further compounded by the fact that car space near Croke Park is becoming more and more restricted, thus pushing parkers further and further out.
On the plus side, however, the minor match at Croke Park commences at 1.45 and the senior at 3.30.

At the far end is the Ballybough Stand, which only runs for two-thirds of the pitch, and is a medium sized, uncovered all-seated stand, which dips down towards the river.
Completing the Tolka Park picture is the Richmond Road (or Main) Stand.
As with the other Irish grounds that I saw, by English standards, then it would be one of the worst in the league, but it does have a unique charm and looks to be a good place to watch a match from.

Dalymount Park held it's first of 82 full internationals, under the auspices of the FAI in 1922, when the Irish Free State triumphed over the United States on a 3-1 scoreline.
The original corrugated Iron perimeter wall was replaced with a 10 foot high concrete wall and the wooden stand on the reserved side was replaced with a large covered Iron framed stand, with room for 1600 spectators.
The Jodi stand was officially opened on October 31st, 1999 when Bohemians returned to Dalymount after a short stay in Tolka Park, with a thrilling 3-2 win over Sligo Rovers.

It's some draft plan for the redevelopment of Richmond Rd. Tolka is marked as an area under zoning objectives as: To preserve, provide and improve recreational amenity and open space.
It seems the land could be rezoned in the future but you're talking about 2010/11 at the earliest.
