Tom Kite (born December 9, 1949 in Austin, Texas) is an American golfer.
Kite attended the University of Texas on a golf scholarship and was coached by Harvey Penick.
Tom Kite was the first in Tour history to reach $6 million, $7 million, $8 million, and $9 million in career earnings.

When Kite arrives at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, N.Y., for the 2004 U.S. Open June 17-20, he will be making his 31st consecutive Open start, ranking him third all-time behind four-time Open champion Jack Nicklaus (44) and three-time Open winner Hale Irwin (33).
