Tom Lester is an American actor and evangelist who was born September 23, 1938, in Jackson, Mississippi.
Lester did a play with CBS producer Paul Henning's daughter Mary Kaye, (Betty Jo of "Petticoat Junction") in the 1960s, and soon found himself auditioning for the Eb role.
Lester was last seen in the movie "Gordy", which featured a pig, not unlike the personified Arnold Ziffle.
